Green Shabby Cabinet and My Vintage Collection

Today I'm going to share with you my GREEN SHABBY CABINET and some of my favorite VINTAGE goodies. When I went shopping for merchandise for COTTAGE CHARM I would always find some things that I wanted for myself...imagine that! While I was at CANTON (my fav place to buy merchandise for my shop)I found this awesome OLD green cabinet that I just had to buy for myself...thinking about painting it a different color since my kitchen has had a makeover. I have a few pieces of my collection of BLUE RIDGE POTTERY displayed here...I just luv the colors in these pieces. I also have some FAMILY pieces displayed here too...they are my SPECIAL ones...thank you for taking the time to look!

My MIL had a BOATLOAD of awesome kitchen gadgets!

I sooooo luv BLUE RIDGE POTTERY!

My sweet GRANDMA made sooooo many srumptious SOUTHERN dishes using these PINK mixing bowls!

I love how worn Grandma's pink bowls are - just proof that she did, indeed, put them to a lot of use!!!
Lovin' the cherry glasses, too.

Thanks for advertising my Etsy store to your friends and family!

The dishes are so springy and bright. Love them. I have an old hand mixer like that too, mine is yellow. I need to find a spot to display it. Do you come all the way from Alabama to Canton, TX? WOW! Let me know the next time you come and maybe we can meet up and shop.

I love everything, including the cabinet! But the best are the memories that go with the items from you MIL and your grandmother's pink bowls. I have a few of my grandmother's and I still use them to cook with. She passed away in 1965, so they've been put to good use. What a wonderful post, full of memories for you and you conjured up some for me. Thanks!

Your cabinet is the prettiest shade of green and all of your vintage pieces are so lovely.
I see you have lots of what we call, red handled ware. It flies out of our shop!
I love the pink bowls and your plates are beautiful.

Your green cabinet is great and exactly the same green as in my re-done kitchen. How about that? But, alas, my kitchen is FULL. Love all your pottery and vintage kitchy thingies.

This post is delightful. Makes me smile! My husband's grandparents who live in Indiana collect Blue Ridge pottery and have a lot of it, too...many many patterns. They used to sell it in shows or something. They gave a teacup that is the same pattern as the yellow plate you have on the bottom shelf, far right. I love it! I also love your pink bowls. So fun & vintage!

You got somethin' special going on here....enjoy. :)

Oh my I'm just blown away with your wonderful old green cabinet and everything that is in it. Great collection! Isn't being in the antique business a hoot? I'm not doing it now but when I did I printed on my business cards:
When you find work you love you no longer have to work for a living! I love it!!!
